Who Am I?
My name is Simon Heyes, and I am a psychotherapist based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
Beginning counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s completely natural to have questions or uncertainties. The process is designed to be straightforward, supportive, and guided at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Sessions are offered online and face to face in Hebden Bridge. Online counselling provides a flexible and accessible way to engage in therapy from a space where you feel most at ease and private.
Before starting, we will arrange a free 15-minute consultation by telephone. This offers an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions you may have, and consider whether working together feels right for you.
If you decide to proceed, we will agree on a start date and meet for weekly sessions. Throughout the work, we can regularly review how therapy is progressing and make adjustments where helpful.
Counselling is a collaborative process, providing a confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with support and understanding.
“Simon Heyes BA (Hons) – BACP Registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist.
Degree with Honours in Counselling Psychology & Psychotherapy (University of Bolton) and Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Stockport College).”
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (bacp),
